Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to the Journal of Science and Clinical Pharmacy Research (JSCPR) undergoes a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of the research published. The process is conducted as follows:

Initial Screening – The editorial team reviews each submission to ensure it complies with the journal’s scope, format, and ethical guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet basic requirements may be desk-rejected.

Double-Blind Peer Review – Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then sent to at least two independent reviewers. Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Reviewer's Recommendation – Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodology, significance, and clarity. Based on their feedback, the manuscript may be accepted, accepted with minor or major revisions, or rejected.

Revision and Resubmission – If revisions are required, authors are given time to address reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised manuscript. The revised version may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers.

Final Decision – The editor-in-chief, based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript, makes the final decision regarding acceptance for publication.

Proofreading and Publication – Accepted manuscripts undergo final editing, proofreading, and layout before being published online.

The average time from submission to final decision is approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of authors and reviewers. This peer review system upholds academic integrity and helps ensure that only high-quality articles are published.
