Hubungan Kinerja Perawat dengan Kepuasan Pasien di Rawat Inap RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang Tahun 2024

Abstract

Nurse performance is influenced by various factors from nurses, namely quality of service, communication, speed, ability and initiative. Patient satisfaction is the patient's response or level of feeling about receiving nursing services at the hospital by comparing the services received with the patient's expectations. Based on interviews conducted with inpatients at RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang, many patients stated that they were dissatisfied because the nurses did not pay attention to the patient's needs as a whole. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between nurse performance and inpatient satisfaction at RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all patients at the RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang Inpatient Installation. The sample taken was 79 respondents, obtained using the Total Sampling technique. Data was obtained by survey using a questionnaire, analyzed using the Chi Square test at α = 0.05. The results of the analysis showed that 45.6% of respondents felt that nurses' performance was not good and 54.4% was good. Overall the satisfaction level of patients who expressed satisfaction was 64.6% and those who expressed dissatisfaction was 35.4%. In this study, it was found that there was no relationship between nurse performance and inpatient satisfaction at RSI Ibnu Sina Padang Panjang, with a sig value (pValue) of 0.290. Based on the research results, it is hoped that nurses will maintain their performance well and further improve Communication and Responsiveness in providing services.
