Analisis Konflik Kepala Daerah dan Wakilnya di Indonesia

Abstract

Conflicts between regional heads and their deputies in Indonesia are a common phenomenon that has a significant impact on regional governance. This article discusses the main causes of this conflict, including differences in vision and mission, unclear division of power, internal political competition, political party intervention, and personal and economic interests. The consequences include policy stagnation, disruption of public services, reduced public trust, and political and social instability. To resolve this conflict, the proposed solutions include improving laws and regulations, guidance and mediation, enforcing political ethics, strengthening the role of deputy regional heads, as well as stricter public oversight. With a comprehensive approach, it is hoped that conflicts between regional heads and their deputies can be minimized, so that the regional government can function more effectively and stably.
